TTT 2009 04 Harz D2 Bockswiese Stolberg Bockswiese

This route was brought to you by:
RouteXpert Hans van de Ven (Mr.MRA)
Last edit: 20-03-2019
The 173 ANWB Promoter TankTasTocht (TTT) were scanned by Henry ten Dam and signed by Leon Stolk in Mapsource and later placed as a Track in a .gpx file. These have been made available through the MrGPS website with the approval of the ANWB Promoter so that everyone can enjoy it. The 1st TTT is from 1992, so the route may differ slightly from the original.
I have checked all route points and, where necessary, placed them on the road. Also, if necessary, I have further spaced the start point and end point of the route to avoid navigating directly to the end point, and I added the POI files from the start and end point just like a possible stop.
Finally, I made the route the same for TomTom, Garmin and MyRoute-app Navigation users.
Thanks to Henry, Leon, MrGPS and Promoter.

Hahnenklee Bockswiese
* Hahnenklee and Bockswiese are both outlying areas of the municipality of Goslar amidst blooming mountain meadows, crystal clear lakes, streams and green forests.
This TTT is mainly on beautiful roads through the Harz National Park, where you as a motorcyclist go to the Harz, turns, turns and more turns and with a regular climb, so you are already at 45 meters after 45 KM , see height tag in the FB post.
After 1h30 you arrive at Harzdrenalin, here you really have to stop to take a break or you drive a little further to take a break at Zur Talsperre.
After coffee and taking some pictures or maybe a flight or walk over the bridge, it is time to drive on to the lunch location, which is planned in Ellirch at the Alte Backstube. After lunch you continue your hike through this beautiful area to Altenau where you can stop for coffee at Zum Forsthaus. It is now about a 45-minute drive to the end point in Bockswiese, but first refueling in Goslar.
Because I have driven large parts of this route myself, this route gets 4 stars.
Route details:
rp 9 - Harzdrenalin, Adventure sports in Elbingerode.
rp 10 - Zur Talsperre, coffee break.
rp 18 - Alte Backstube, lunch stop.
rp 31 - Zum Forsthaus, coffee break.
rp 33 - Refueling in Goslar.

Start- en eindpunt in Bockswiese (Goslar, Harz)
