RouteXpert Review Via nice winding roads, you drive along the border with Belgium to Galder where the 1st stop for coffee is planned. Continue via nice Brabant villages such as Moergestel, Spoordonk to the lunch location in Best, where you can visit the Liberating Wings Museum before or after lunch, the museum is dedicated to the Second World War and in particular to Operation Market Garden. The museum is located in the area where soldiers of the US 101st Airborne Division landed during the operation.
After lunch it continues and just in the province of Noord-Brabant is the Toon Kortooms Museum, nice to take some pictures. Antonius Johannes Kortooms was a writer of about thirty novels, such as "Beekman & Beekman", "Let the doctor slide" and "Help the doctor drown". Kortooms was born in Deurne, as the seventh child in a family of fourteen children that the area called 'Circus Kortooms'.
Once in Limburg, a coffee stop is planned at "Café Geraats", after the coffee you will set course for the South Limburg hills, with stops at the Netherlands American Cemetery and Memorial. The Netherlands American Cemetery and Memorial, is an American military cemetery and memorial commemorating the deceased soldiers of the United States of America at the time of the battle in South Limburg, the Ardennes Offensive and in the Ruhr area, during the Second World War.
After Margraten you descend further south and on the Eperbaan another stop is planned at Lodge 7, from where you have a view of the tower of the 3-country point, the next stop for a photo. After the 3-country point you drive back to Klimmen, where this tour ends.
