This is part 4 that runs from Kamloops to Revelstoke.
The Trans Canada Highway passes through all the southern provinces of the country. The route can be driven in different ways. There are namely in various alternative routes that also belong to the TCH. The total distance is around 8,000 km. We not only drive the TCH, but will take the rural roads as much as possible, because only highway driving is too boring and Canada has many beautiful roads through its beautiful landscape.
You drive through all provinces and through very varied and scenic landscapes, from the Rockies in the West, the Central Prairies to the Eastern Maritimes and the Northern Forest.
The riding season is generally April through October with longer seasons on the west coast and southern Ontario.
Provide good all season clothing or bring rain gear, depending on the province and the season the weather can change and you may be surprised by a rain or even a snow or hail shower, so be prepared.
In Canada the metric system is used, so speeds are indicated in Km / h. A helmet requirement (DOT approved) applies throughout Canada.
You will see many wildlife throughout Canada. your similar animals from province to province, such as deer, buffalos, moose, caribou, wolves, pumas, bears, mountain goats, sheep, lynx, coyotes, foxes, raccoons, badgers, various rodents and all kinds of birds.
Even if it is very tempting to stop for a photo, don't do it, it can be very dangerous.

The route is 220 km so there is time enough to visit a number of interesting sites along the way such as the British Columbia Wildlife Park (RP2), this is a 43-hectare zoo in Kamloops. The BC Wildlife Park is a non-profit association dedicated to saving and rehabilitating animals, saving more than 60% of the animals in the park. Discover more than 200 different animals and 65 species of animals native to British Columbia in the BC Wildlife Park, including the only Kermode Bear in human care in the world! The BC Wildlife Park offers many exciting activities that we encourage everyone to enjoy, including feed talks, Bird of Prey shows, a splash park and playground, and the Wildlife Express train.
The next stop is at the Monte Creek Ranch Winery (RP3). They provide a tour program through the authentic winery with a ranch experience. The cost is $ 10 per person and includes a wine tasting, spit out because we still have to drive. You must call ahead to reserve a tour.
Along the route lies at Chase Creek Falls (RP4), this is a small but beautiful waterfall just a short walk from a resting place along Highway 1 just outside the town of Chase. The falls fall about 10 meters down in a narrow gorge, the bottom of the waterfall is in a pool. In the town of Chase there is also the possibility to have a drink or something to eat.
At the town of Sorento we briefly leave the TCH to drive along Blind Bay, a beautiful winding country road along the bay. Before we return to the TCH we visit the Dreamcycle Motorcycle Museum (RP10).
Motorcycle enthusiast Mark Lane turned his passion for collecting motorcycles into a full-time career when he opened the Dreamcycle Motorcycle Museum in the summer of 2012. The museum traces the history of motorcycles with motorcycles from 1924 to 2002. Mark chooses the motorcycles based on their historical significance and rarity. Certainly a must for every motorcyclist. The Sprokkets Café is in the Top 10 Café Racer Haunts of For The Ride worldwide. With fresh soup, homemade cakes and sandwiches
We continue the ride around Shuswap Lake, on the way there are beautiful panoramas again. We pass a number of towns such as, Salmon Arm, Canoe and Sicamous. This is followed by a slightly duller part where we have to drive on a real Highway, but you can occasionally enjoy beautiful panoramas of the mountains and the Eagle River.
RP12 Skytrek Adventure Park and Enchanted Forrest are next to each other and here you can enjoy the tracks between the trees, zipper, climb, jump, swing, free fall, challenge yourself and test your nerves at a maximum of 15 meters (50 feet) from the ground!
The last 30 kilometers lead through valleys and along lakes to the Revelstoke end point, at RP13 you can stop for a few nice photos of the Three Valley Lake. Via the beautiful historic Suspension bridge (RP14) we drive Revelstoke where we spend the night.
This fourth leg of the Trans Canada Highway is worth 4 **** stars, it is a beautiful ride with beautiful views and there are a number of activities and sights along the way.
