Together with the first route, this route forms the journey to Hirtshals in the north of Denmark, where the ferry to Kristiansand in Norway awaits you. The start of the route is at the end point of the previous route, hotel Ruhekrug in Schleswig, the end point is at Bikers Rest, an accommodation 30 km below Hirtshals. The routes are easy for everyone and are (largely) on well-paved roads.
Given the excellent condition of the roads, the nice views and, to top it all off, the road over the beach, I rate this route 4 stars.

The second part of this 13-piece collection takes you from northern Germany to northern Denmark. What is striking is the number of roundabouts in Denmark. In the Netherlands we see them very often in the streets, in Denmark they apparently also see the benefits of them.
The route leads you directly back to the 76, the road you drove on for the last part of the first route. Just below Flensburg you leave this 76 to drive the last kilometers through Germany via the Ochsenweg. You enter Denmark at Padborg. Padborg is a place you shouldn't imagine too much about, lots of freight transhipment. That is also to be expected at the border.
After Padborg you meander quietly from roundabout to roundabout through the Danish landscape. Somewhat hilly, lots of grassland, a bit like the Netherlands. Fairly quiet roads, well maintained.
At Jels it's time to stretch your legs and drink a cup of coffee. There is also refueling facilities if necessary. What is striking is that the restaurant is located right next to a tire center. If you get there around lunch: Sit down and see what the gentlemen tire fitters are walking past. Hamburgers and piles of fries you can't see over! Must be a profession that makes you hungry, that tire mechanic.
After the coffee stop you continue your way north, where it still seems as if you are driving in the Netherlands. Just a lot quieter, and that's not a bad thing at all. Denmark is also a country where you should keep a close eye on your speed, here they also know what to do with the amount of fines. Currently fines start from DK1000, which is approximately €125. It is therefore advisable to pay attention to the speed.
Along the 13 at Lille Høllund it is time for a second stop, this time for something to eat. We all know the expression 'don't judge a book by it's cover', and that certainly applies to this restaurant. A bit shabby from the outside, but they served a very good hamburger. And of course freshly prepared on site. You will encounter this much more often on the other routes, for example petrol stations with a grill corner where they prepare fresh hamburgers.
You are probably now driving in North Jutland without even realizing it. The northernmost part of Jutland is formed by the island of Vendsyssel-Thy. This is separated from the rest of Jutland by the Limfjord. However, the island was only created by a storm in February 1825 and can be reached in several places by road from the rest of Jutland. Jutland is fairly flat, with low hills and peatlands. It has an area of 29,775 square kilometers.
After you have passed Viborg, you cross the Limfjord via the Aggersundbroen after the second coffee break. This bridge has been there since 1942.
The Limfjord (Danish: Limfjorden) is an elongated bay in North Jutland in Denmark that separates Vendsyssel-Thy from the rest of Jutland. The Limfjord has an area of about 1700 km² and a depth of about 5 to 9 meters west of Aalborg and about 10 meters deep east of this city.
The Limfjord has played an important role as a waterway for small ships since the Viking era. Until 1825, the Limfjord only had an eastern passage to the open sea. In that year, the North Sea broke through in the west, so that it is no longer a real fjord and Vendsyssel-Thy is an island.
But perhaps the nicest part of this route: Driving on the beach at Blokhus. If you simply follow the route, you will eventually find yourself in the middle of the beach. The route will then take you about 5 kilometers along the beach, how much fun is that? If you don't feel like doing that, you can not take the third, but the second exit at the roundabout in Blokhuis, then you cut off the part over the beach.
Ultimately, via the beach or not, you will arrive at the end of the route, at Bikers Rest. That is an accommodation where you actually have to do everything yourself. You start with the groceries, then you can prepare your own food in one of the kitchen units. You take the plates and cutlery out of the cupboard, then wash them. Don't feel like cooking? Then you pull a pizza from the freezer and heat it in one of the ovens available. There are also toasted sandwiches in the same freezer, so there is something for everyone. Did I mention that you can/may/must make your own coffee and tea? Included in the price by the way.
In the hall behind it, where there is also the recreation room where you can relax with a drink. A dart board and billiards as well as various games are available to spend the evening. Of course, leave your 'signature' somewhere on the wall!
At the very back of the hall is the place where the engines can stay dry overnight, there is also a small workshop where the necessary repairs can be carried out.
Have fun driving this route!

13 day roundtrip South Norway
A 13-part motorcycle journey through southern Norway is like a letter to nature, where every bend and every horizon reveals a new chapter. This journey is characterized by the smell of pine forests and the sound of cascading waterfalls, while your engine rumbles softly on the winding roads that take you deeper into the Norwegian wilderness.
A highlight of this trip is Dalsnibba, where you ride above the clouds and are greeted by panoramic views of deep fjords and snow-capped mountains. It feels like the world stands still for a moment as you admire the majestic beauty of the Geirangerfjord below you.
From there, the road takes you to Geiranger, an enchanting village nestled by the fjord of the same name. As you drive along the fjord, the waterfalls – such as the famous “Seven Sisters” – seem to perform a dance. Here you feel the grandeur of nature right into your soul.
The next few days will take you along the iconic Trollstigen, the "Troll Road". With its eleven hairpin bends and steep cliffs, it is an adventure in itself. As you reach the peaks, it feels like you are touching the ancient legends of Norway itself. The silence is only broken by the rushing of mountain streams and the hum of your engine.
Another highlight of the trip is the Atlantic Road, a masterpiece of road engineering that winds gracefully over small islands and bridges, as if designed by nature itself. With the Atlantic Ocean on either side, you feel the freedom of the open water, as the sea breeze caresses your face.
Every day is filled with contrasts: deep fjords and high mountain passes, serene lakes and wild coastlines. Norwegian culture – from picturesque villages to charming mountain huts – invites you to stop and enjoy heart-warming food and friendly encounters.
This journey is not just a ride; it is an ode to adventure, connection and the pure beauty of the world. You will return not only with unforgettable memories, but also with a heart that is forever a piece of Norway.
Some of the routes include sections of gravel roads. These roads are of such a quality that they are easy to drive for everyone. Gravel roads and cabins are an integral part of the real Norwegian adventure. They offer a unique opportunity to explore the country in an authentic, intimate way, away from the hustle and bustle of paved main roads and standard tourist accommodations.
Using gravel roads and staying in cabins offers a perfect balance between adventure and relaxation. During the day you explore rugged, remote areas where asphalt ends and nature begins. In the evening you relax in a cozy cabin, where the simplicity of life and the beauty of Norway come together.
Of course, you are also free to pitch your own tent at the campsites where the routes end.
This combination makes a holiday in Norway an unforgettable experience, where you get to know the real soul of the country. It is a way to get closer to nature, challenge yourself and at the same time have a warm refuge to recharge for the next day of discoveries.
