This route runs from Portal Nous again across the northern part of the island, largely through the Serra de Tramuntana. The ultimate goal is the beautiful bay of Sa Calobra, the road to it is a real party.
Via beautiful winding roads that offer you a beautiful view of the island and the surrounding Mediterranean Sea, you can enjoy all the beauty that this island has to offer.
Because of the beautiful surroundings, the equally beautiful roads and the nice sights, I rate this route 5 stars.

Road to Sa Calobra
This route will also lead you through the Serra de Tramuntana and will depart from Portal Nous. After leaving the outskirts of Palma behind you, the first cols appear again. The advice is to start slowly, which is why the first one with an altitude of 550 meters is a nice start. To be fair, it must be said that today it will not go that much higher. Not much further you will come across the next col, which is just shy of the 500 meter height. Despite that, the view is worth stopping for.
After some time you reach the Selva picture, where you turn on the Ma-2130. You could say that this is where the pre-party starts, this road offers you beautiful asphalt, great views and great bends, including quite a few of the 'hairpin' type. You complained that you hadn't warmed up the sides of the tire yet? That can be arranged from here, just send!
Don't forget to enjoy the beautiful views along the way, but keep it safe! Fortunately, they have created several viewpoints along this road, where you can stop to take in the surroundings. But use these points!!
At Baixada you turn onto the Ma-10. Unfortunately, the party is over... Nope, it's business as usual. Okay, okay, you won't encounter any hairpin bends here, but you will encounter great asphalt and beautiful curves, which once again makes it a beautiful steering road.
Along this road you will find Mirador de sa Casa Nova, a viewpoint in Escorca. It is located 32 kilometers from the city of Palma. Mirador de sa Casa Nova is as natural as it gets. It is located far from buildings and roads, making this place excellent if you really want to ground and recharge. Don't forget to listen to the nature around you, take it in, chances are people walked in the exact same place thousands of years ago!
A few kilometers further you arrive at the Ma-2141, the road that will take you to the destination of this route: Sa Calobra. Uniquely located in the Serra de Tramuntana, Sa Calobra has a beautiful bay, great rock formations and clear blue water. The beaches are located in different gorges, which distinguishes it from the other beaches in Mallorca. There are various walking routes to reach the bay of Torrent de Pareis. You can walk along the water but also through the narrow mountain tunnels. There are also several dining options, where you can enjoy not only the food but also the sea view. The road there should certainly not be forgotten, beautiful views, steep slopes and winding roads are real features of this beautiful route.
As mentioned, you can take care of your inner self in one of the restaurants available. This will be very necessary, because you can drive back the same way. No punishment, right?
As soon as you return to the Ma-10, turn right and you will soon pass the Embassament del Gorg Blau. This is a reservoir located in the Serra de Tramuntana region. The lake was created by the construction of a dam in the course of the Torrent de Pareis river.
The reservoir is an important part of the water supply of the island of Mallorca and supplies several municipalities with drinking water. It is also a popular tourist attraction due to its beautiful location among the mountains and its clear, blue waters.
The Gorg Blau area offers several walking and cycling routes, including the famous Ruta de la Pedra en Sec, which runs from the reservoir to the coast, passing through some of the most spectacular landscapes of the Serra de Tramuntana.
The Ma-10 is followed for a while, where it is striking that there are few straight stretches on this road. This indicates that some height differences have to be overcome here and there. These are not huge differences, but they do mean that the Ma-10 can be considered one of the more beautiful roads on the island. You can experience this yourself all the way to DeiĆ . There it is high time to stop dancing about the Ma-10 for a while and take a break.
At Valldemossa you turn right onto the Ma-10, which you will follow for another 5 kilometers. Then you turn left onto the Ma-1100, and not much further you leave it for the Ma-1101. But don't worry, you can also get your money's worth on this road. Once again smooth asphalt, beautiful views and beautiful bends. Here you will also have to get through a number of hairpin bends, but after the previous bends of that type in this route, this should no longer be a problem.
On this road you will also find one of the last cols of this route, with a height of less than 300 meters you already notice that you are slowly leaving the Serra de Tramuntana. After a final fuel stop you arrive back in Portal Nous, where it is high time for a delicious snack on the terrace. You deserve it after all that effort!
Have fun driving this route!

Mallorca
About this region
Mallorca, or Majorca, is the largest island in the Balearic Islands, which are part of Spain, and the seventh largest island in the Mediterranean Sea.
The capital of the island, Palma, is also the capital of the autonomous community of the Balearic Islands. The Balearic Islands have been an autonomous region of Spain since 1983. There are two small islands off the coast of Mallorca: Cabrera (southeast of Palma) and Dragonera (west of Palma). The anthem of Mallorca is "La Balanguera".
Like the other Balearic Islands of Menorca, Ibiza, and Formentera, the island is an extremely popular holiday destination, particularly for tourists from the Netherlands, Germany and the United Kingdom. The international airport, Palma de Mallorca Airport, is one of the busiest in Spain; it was used by 28 million passengers in 2017, with use increasing every year since 2012.

Exploring the magnificent roads of Mallorca
Mallorca is one of the most popular sun destinations in Europe. The white sandy beaches with overhanging palm trees, immense limestone rocks and the crystal clear sea attract many sun worshipers every year. But a holiday in Mallorca has more to offer than sun, sea and beach: Beautiful sights and wonderful motorcycling on the many kilometers of beautifully landscaped roads! Moreover, it is only a 2.5-hour flight from the Netherlands and there is no time difference!
These four routes give you an impression of how beautiful Mallorca is. You will explore the Serra de Tramuntana in all its beauty and tranquility with its many beautiful views. There are plenty of great restaurants along the way where you can enjoy a well-deserved break on the terrace.
These four routes are great for a long weekend or midweek break, great for a few days away. There are several providers where you can rent a motorcycle, you can even explore Mallorca on a Royal Enfiel Himalayan, how fun is that?
A few sights are discussed per route in the review. These often tell something about the history of the area in which you play. Fun facts, okay. You are completely free to visit these sights, you can of course also choose your own points of interest.
But it is a great thing that you probably traveled to this area for, the great driving and the beautiful weather. And as mentioned above, you are in a true motorcycle paradise where steering is fantastic!
