The 43 ANWB Endangered Routes
About this collection
You have certainly already seen one of the 43 Endangered ANWB routes. When asked whether these can also be offered as 1 file, the MyRoute-app Team set to work to realize this user's wish. You can see the result in this collection.
The series of the 43 Threatened ANWB routes have been published in the Promotor between April 2015 and September 2016. In the past, the routes were driven on the basis of the ANWB signs. These signs have disappeared from the streets with the arrival of navigation systems.
All 43 routes have been checked and made equal for TomTom, Garmin and MyRoute-app Navigation by a MyRoute-app RouteXpert. The routes follow as much as possible the original route as it was made at the time.
The 43 routes start and/or end in one of the provinces of the Netherlands and occasionally also go through Germany or Belgium.
The number of routes per province is as follows:
• Friesland : 5 routes
• Groningen : 4 routes
• Drenthe : 6 routes
• Germany : 1 route
• Overijssel : 4 routes
• North Holland : 2 routes
• South Holland : 3 routes
• Utrecht : 1 route
• Flevoland : 2 routes
• Gelderland : 4 routes
• Zeeland : 5 routes
• North Brabant : 4 routes
• Limburg : 2 routes
Have fun with this collection and while driving one of these routes.
Enjoy all the beauty that the Netherlands has to offer, such as the flood museum in Zeeland or the bulb fields* in South Holland and through the beautiful Mergelland* of Limburg. Click on “View route” to read the review of the chosen route.
*On weekends, these routes can be very busy, so if you can go on a weekday, that's preferable.
I would like to hear your findings about the route(s).
