RouteXpert Review After a good breakfast we leave for Adenau after about 2 hours' drive on the beautiful roads with wonderful curves in the Eifel, we enter Welchenhaußen in Belgium.
After 5 km we arrive at the Germany-Belgium-Luxembourg three-country point at RP22, you can stop here for a photo of the memorial stones and the Europe monument. We are now entering Luxembourg and enjoy the vast hilly landscape with beautiful winding roads.
At Burgbierg we drive back into the Eifel for some hairpin bends.
At Dasburg we enter Luxembourg again, where we drive south along the river Our (also for a large part the border between Germany and Luxembourg) to Vianden (RP28).
In Vianden we stop for lunch and there is also the possibility to visit the castle or just walk around a bit through this beautiful town.
After lunch we drive further south to Wallendorf where the Our river joins the Sûre river. Here we also cross the border to Germany and continue to Bollendorf, where you can stop for a drink.
We continue the drive north to Neuerburg, Waxweiler and Gerolstein, where we drive a nice winding part between Densborn (RP37) and Gerolstein.
After this day, which I appreciate with 5 stars, we join the BBQ at Red House on the Hill.
