You will need it, there are no less than 30 bends or. curve combinations on you!Because of the twisty course I give the route 5 stars!

RouteXpert Review
There is only a small proportion of motorcyclists who have not yet visited the Eifel. Most are looking for the most beautiful winding roads, because that's what motorcyclists love. Then you don't have to look any further, because this MRA route connects 30 of the most beautiful curve combinations in the northeast of the Eifel.You start the engine (after filling up at the Aral next to the bikertreff), after a well-deserved cup of coffee at café-bistro Ahrwind (one of the oldest and perhaps the oldest bikertreff in Germany) and drive north. You drive here parallel to the river Ahr, which burst its banks in July 2021 and had a local level that was 17 (!) meters higher than normal. You will see many after-effects of this huge natural disaster along the way.
You cross the river at Kreuzberg and soon after the first bends begin. The first combination consists of 5 hairpins and some other turns. Over a length of almost 4 km, the sides of your tires are already being used quite a bit. And that was just a warm-up!
The moment you think you have some peace and quiet, it starts again at Binzenbach. For the enthusiasts, you are now driving close to the radio telescope Effelsberg. In the link you will find more information and it is certainly worth a visit another time.
You now drive on and after a spicy combination at Obliers you drive pleasantly to the B257. You take it short, because the B257 is nice, but it is certainly not in this top 30 of corner combinations. You drive via Insul, Sierscheid (nice photo opportunity) to Schuld. Here you can take a picture of one of the bridges that survived the storm. A little later, you've already been on the road for an hour, you stop at Bikertreff Waldfrieden. Here it is, mainly in the weekends, to see and be seen, but they also have good coffee and a piece of cake!
You continue your way and through a circumferential movement you eventually reach the tightest hairpins of the route: Fuchshofen. 7 to 8 tight hairpin bends in close succession will wreak havoc on the sidewalls of your tires and demand everything from your driving skills. You then have the opportunity to take a beautiful photo when you reach the top. *click* and on, you are on your way to Reifferscheid, one of the highest villages in the Eifel. You gradually drive down and to your left you see a nice view. A photo to be able to tell the story is certainly desirable.
You now make a loop around the village of Müsch, containing 7 different combinations of turns, and continue your way to Adenau.
Just after Adenau, when you have driven under the Nürburgring, you can fill your now empty stomach on the left with all kinds of goodies that Cockpit has to offer. If you can't resist the noise, you can watch the performance of the speed devils doing their rounds next to the bridge on the embankment.
After lunch you drive back a little and turn right towards the highest point of the Eifel: the hohe Acht (747 meters). With a big S you take a number of corner combinations again and you can take a look at the start of the Nürburgring. It is definitely worth taking a look there.
You drive on and go around the industrial area opposite the Nürburgring. Via Boos (the people are not angry there) you get to process some nice corners again at Monreal. Via the always beautiful Virneburg, with its wonderful wide bends and its ruin, and the hairpins at Langenfeld, it is urgently necessary to strengthen the inner man again. That is very possible at the Seehütte. You will also be treated to a wonderful view of the Waldsee on the terrace.
After your drink, and perhaps a snack, you get back on the road and you drive through the forests of the northern Eifel towards Bad Neuenahr and Ahrweiler. These places are also very affected by the high water. Of the 7 original bridges, only 1 was left.
You are almost there, but the best view is saved for last. When you are at the top at Dernau you have a great view to the left and right over part of the stream valley of the Ahr and Dernau in particular. If there's ever a photo opportunity, this is it!
You experience the last kilometers as dead straight, even though there are bends in it. Counting the number of turns in this tour is impossible, but there were many, many. You turn back into the parking lot at Ahrwind and you grin, from ear to ear. Really another cool MRA route. Greetings from the Eifel!

Top 5 Car and Motorcycle Routes in the Eifel
The Eifel is the eastern part of the medium plateau Eifel-Ardennes. It is located north of the Moselle and west of the Rhine. The largest part is in Germany, a small part is in Belgium, in the East Cantons. The German part of Eifel is located in the federal states of North Rhine-Westphalia and Rhineland-Palatinate. The highest point is the Hohe Acht with 747 meters.
Several chains can be distinguished in the Eifel:
The northernmost part is called the Nordeifel, which in Belgium connects to the High Fens;
To the east of this is the Ahrgebirge, this part is located north of the Ahr in the Ahrweiler district;
South of the Ahr is the Hohe Eifel (or Hocheifel), of which the Hohe Acht (747 m) is the highest point, and also the highest point in the entire Eifel region;
To the west, near the Belgian border, the hills are known as Schneifel, part of the wider Snow Eifel area with peaks reaching up to 698 metres;
South and east of the Hohe Eifel is the Volcano-Eifel, a volcanic area with many crater lakes (Maare).
The southern part of the Eifel is less high. The area is bisected by streams and rivers running southwards. These streams flow into the Moselle. The largest of these rivers is the Kyll; the hills around this river are known as the Kyllwald;
In the south, the Eifel ends in the Voreifel.
In the north of the Eifel there are some large reservoirs. The largest of these is the reservoir in the Roer that was created by the construction of the Roerdal dam.
The Nürburgring is also located in the Eifel, a well-known car circuit for Formula 1 races, among other things. Since 2004, part of the north of the Eifel has become the Eifel National Park. This National Park falls entirely within the German-Belgian nature park High Fens-Eifel. Another part of the Eifel falls within the South Eifel Nature Park.
