The first part of the route is via the highway, in South Limburg you can stop for a cup of coffee right after the exit. After a cup of coffee the steering begins. You then drive via Belgium and Germany to the end point in Luxembourg. A large part of the route goes through the Eifel, known for its beautiful roads and hairpin bends.
Because of the great roads and bends for motorcyclists in this route I rate it with 5 stars.

The start is at the Total Pompstation on the A58 in Tilburg. After a good hour of driving and coffee with cake, it is time to look for the scenic roads of South Limburg and Belgium. At Schin op Geul you pass the railway line of the Zuid-Limburgse Stoomtrein Maatschappij. This railway line is part of the "Miljoenenlijn" and is a so-called tourist railway line. One of the few existing steam train services in the Netherlands. It is maintained entirely by volunteers.
Once in Belgium, "Alensberg Castle" quickly appears, this castle was one of the six original lordships of the Moresnet domain. It was probably built by a certain Jean d'Alensberg, in the middle of the 15th century.
During World War II, the castle suffered severe damage. Not only was it occupied by German and American troops, but the retreating Germans also attempted to blow up the strategically located castle on September 10, 1944. The heavily damaged castle was partly demolished in 1946.
The largest part of the route goes through the hilly areas of the Eifel. Long winding roads alternate with beautiful hairpin bends. These are the big magnets that attract motorcyclists.
You will pass through the Eifel National Park, which was founded in 2004 and covers 110 square kilometres. It is still considered a "national development park".
The Hürtgenwald is also located here and has an area of approximately 130 km².
During World War II, heavy fighting took place here for more than three months. As a result, large parts of the forest area are still virtually inaccessible. There is still a lot of unexploded ammunition and grenades.
In the Hürtgenwald you can stop at the highest point, Eifel Blick Jagerhaus. It offers you an impressive view to the west. This Eifel Blick is located about 100 m from the parking lot Jägerhaus. A paved path leads to the view over the Eifel. It is quite an effort because the gradient is more than 6%. Follow the signs "Eifel-Blick" there.
You also pass the Abbey of Mariawald. This is a monastery of the Cistercians of the strict observance, called Trappists. The motto of the Trappists is: Luceat lux vestra (let your light shine). From Heimbach a Way of the Cross leads to the abbey. The first seven of the fourteen chapels are free-standing stations, the other chapels are within the monastery wall.
After you have seen the "light", drive on and you will arrive at the Kronenburger See.
This 27 hectare lake was created in 1973/1977 for sailors, surfers, fishermen and swimmers.
It is also used as a rainwater storage basin during high water of the Kyll and Taubkyll.
You will also find a special attraction for young visitors: Germany's first water climbing course.
The users will find several climbing elements here that are about 1 m above the water level. Anyone who loses their balance will only get soaked. Safety nets or cable safety devices are therefore not necessary.
You drive for over 1.5 km along the banks of the Kronenburger See. Unfortunately, it is only directly visible from the road at a few points. If you want to see the See yourself, look for the parking lot as indicated in the route
Then Schönecken Castle looms up. It is a ruin on a hilltop at 467m above sea level in the town of the same name. The complex is protected on all sides by higher mountains. This castle ruin is also called “Bella Costa” or “Clara Costa”. It was a 120-metre-long rectangular complex with a curtain wall and three towers protruding outwards. Parts are still intact and offer great opportunities for a photo moment. To get there, park your motorbike in the Von-Herselstrasse and go up via the Burgstieg.
After a few more beautiful bends you cross the border with Luxembourg.
Luxembourg, officially called the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, has an area of 2,586 km² and a population of over 650,000. After Malta, it is the smallest country in the European Union. The capital and largest city of the country is the eponymous Luxembourg.
The route includes a number of places for a drink and a bite to eat for yourself and your motorbike, are you obliged to stop here? No, of course you can also determine your own stops.
You end the route at the reception, check in and enjoy today's route while enjoying a snack and a drink.

Limburg
About this region
Limburg (Dutch pronunciation: [ˈlɪmbʏr(ə)x] (About this soundlisten)) is the southernmost of the 12 provinces of the Netherlands. The province is bordered by the province of Gelderland to the north and by North Brabant to its west. Its long eastern boundary forms the international border with the state of North Rhine-Westphalia in Germany. To the west is the international border with the similarly named Belgian province of Limburg, part of which is delineated by the river Meuse. The Vaalserberg is on the extreme south-eastern point, marking the tripoint of the Netherlands, Germany and Belgium.
Limburg's major cities are the provincial capital Maastricht (pop. 121,565[5]), as well as Venlo (pop. 101,603) in the Northeast, and Sittard-Geleen (pop. 92,661) and Heerlen (pop. 86,832) in the south. More than half of the population, approximately 650,000 people, live in the south of Limburg, which corresponds to roughly one-third of the province's area proper. In South Limburg, most people live in the urban agglomerations of Maastricht, Parkstad and Sittard-Geleen.

"And then I think of Brabant, because there is still light burning there" and that is true, because the City of Light is in Brabant, in Eindhoven that is, but Eindhoven is also known as the match city of the Netherlands. The coal mines have been closed for almost 40 years, the last load of coal was brought up from the Oranje-Nassau coal mine in Heerlen on 31 December and, as they say, South Limburg was transformed from Black to Green and unfortunately there is still little left. view of this period.
But not only pie, marl and coal in Limburg, but also a very beautiful province to tour by car or motorcycle and enjoy all the beauty that the province of Limburg has to offer. For this, the MyRoute app RouteXpert has put together a Top 10 of Car and Motorcycle routes for you.
