RouteXpert Review The Norwegian Fjords, worn by the moving glaciers, are simply breathtakingly beautiful. There are various fjords to visit in Norway, such as the Trollfjord, Lysefjord and Sognefjord and Geirangerfjord. In this route you cross the Hardangerfjord, Jøsenfjord and Lysefjord in succession. The Hardangerfjord is an approximately 170 kilometer long fjord located on the southwest coast of the Atlantic Ocean of Norway, in the province of Hordaland. The fjord runs from the southwest to the northeast. Some large islands in front of the fjord are Stord, Bømlo and Tysnesøy.
Then a photo / lunch stop at the Låtefossen, this is a "twin waterfall" with a height of approximately 165 meters, located in the municipality of Ullensvang in the Norwegian province of Vestland, about 20 km south of Odda and two kilometers north of Skare along road number 13. Then you cross the Jøsenfjord, this is a side fjord of the Boknafjord in the middle of Ryfylke in Rogaland. The fjord extends approximately 27 km from Hjelmeland / Nesvik to Førrebotn. There are mountains up to 700 meters on either side of the fjord.
Then the stop and possible walk to the Preikestolen or Prekestolen, this is a cliff that rises 605 meters above the Lysefjord. Preikestolen is located in the Norwegian municipality of Forsand in the county of Rogaland. It is a tourist attraction in western Norway and offers a view of fjords and mountains. After the hike it continues and you cross the Lysefjord, the Lysefjord is a Norwegian fjord in the municipality of Forsand in the county of Rogaland near the Høgsfjord. The name means light fjord, probably due to the light granite stones along the fjord. The fjord is approximately 42 km long and at the deepest point 500 meters deep.
Now it is only a short distance until you reach the hotel, where you will still dream of the Preikestolen!
In this 5-star route you mainly drive on good roads, great views and the mighty Preikestolen. Tip, take lunch with you so that you can have lunch with the ferry during the crossing.

When the construction costs are settled, the toll on that specific route is lifted again. Bergen, Oslo, Trondheim, Kristiansand and some other cities also charge (city) tolls.
It is not necessary to take action when staying in Norway. Anyone approaching a toll road can simply drive on without stopping. With cameras above the road, the license plate of the vehicle is scanned, not the license plate of the trailer or caravan. It takes a long time for the photos to be processed.
