Route Summary
Take your time for this great route. Start is at Hotel Bucaneve. Soon you are rounding the most fantastic curves and you are overwhelmed by the beautiful nature of Monti Sibillini National Park. On the way you will encounter some authentic Italian mountain villages such as Castelsantangelo sul Mera and certainly also Visso. The route passes through these villages, not through them, they are villages with narrow alleys and bad GPS reception. Do you have the time, put a route point at a parking place and let yourself be immersed in the Italian tranquility of the interior! The last waypoint is at Hotel Ussita, great food and not too expensive!

RouteXpert Review
Italy is more than just the Dolomites, you also have the magisterial Apennines. The Apennines is a mountain in Italy. They extend over almost the entire peninsula, starting in Liguria in the northwest of Italy to Calabria, 1350 kilometers to the south, in the southeast. The Apennines are home to many gems and one of them is Monti Sibillini National Park. Here you will find everything that makes traveling beautiful, especially with the motorcycle, rest, so many curves that you get dizzy, authentic villages with culture and history, delicious food, and above all, a great nature! All in all, I personally find this one of the most beautiful routes I have driven in Europe. Mind you, in 2016 there was a strong earthquake here, so check the Internet before you leave. In April the snow is still on the mountains and in May the valleys are in bloom. As you can expect from us, the route points are perfectly on the road, there are no errors and the route is the same for TomTom, Garmin and MyRoute-Navigation. Prachtige vallei
Sneeuw in april!

Umbria is a region with green, gently rolling hills, mainly covered with vineyards and olive groves, but there are also many fields of wheat, sugar beet, tobacco and sunflowers. This region is also called the green heart of Italy, has a mild Mediterranean climate so that the summers are dry and sunny. Umbria is characterized by ancient walled hill towns with steep streets that bear witness to a rich cultural history. Be pleasantly surprised by this region, where culture and nature are in perfect balance.
Highlights of Umbria are undoubtedly Assisi, Spoleto, Orvieto, Perugia, Gubbio, Todi, Cortona, Umbertide. There are also numerous fortresses in the region such as Montefiascone, Tentennano, Radicofani, Rocca del Leone and Gualdo Cattaneo, which can be seen from afar due to their high location. Civita di Bagnoregio is one of the most beautiful villages in Italy and the parks of Monte Subasi and Monte Cucco offer fantastic views of the beautiful surroundings. Very nice to drive along is Lake Trasimeno, the fourth largest lake in Italy.
