There are no scheduled stops for refueling, eating or drinking. When the opportunity arises, stop at one of the points indicated by a POI. Along the way there are several small villages with restaurants and cafes.
Hotels, places of interest, and suggested stops to enjoy the view are also marked with a POI.
The last ride of this great motorcycle holiday takes us to the end of Porto via another beautiful routes through Portugal's natural parks.
These roads are varied and sometimes challenging with many curves. The panoramas are breathtaking and there is much to see along the way.
The first part of the ride takes us through the Montesinho National Park. The park is located in the northwest of Portugal, in the Trás-os-Montes region and is one of the largest natural parks in Portugal. The slate and granite mountains form deep valleys, and the clear river waters that flow through them provide the perfect habitat for a wide variety of plants and animals. Beautiful roads and beautiful panoramas. Beautiful meadows, sierras, forests, small rivers, mountain lakes and villages.
At RP13 we drive over the dam Paradela into the southern part of Peneda-Gerês National Park, also a park with beautiful winding roads and beautiful nature.
A number of possible places to stop for a while are marked with a Waypoint;
RP18; Miradouro das Cascatas de Fecha de Barjas, small lake with a beautiful waterfall.
Along the way there are a number of beaches along the river Cavado, where you can stop for a break and a dip in the river.
RP21 is a slightly smaller beach and RP22 is a larger beach with a parking lot and a small restaurant with terrace.
After this we drive through a more urban area and partly on the highway to Vila do Condo, the end of this last day.
This route is worth 4 stars because the end of the ride is a little less spectacular than all other routes.
